FUN AT EXTEND ED

extend fun

The Extend Ed program at the Village school offers students a safe and fun environment for after school care. Students are able to study, play games, spend time outdoors, have a snack, and participate in crafts.

The Extend Ed staff is a group of ladies committed to providing not only a safe place, but a GREAT place to be once the school day has ended. Extend Ed Director, Nancy Schmidt, has been working at Village for several years and enjoys her time with the students. Nancy has a great team of Extend Ed Supervisors who also work with the after school crowd! Sarah Disterheft and Cheryl Hoover have worked with extend ed for several years as well. Both these ladies share their love for children daily through their interactions with the students. The newest member to the Extend Ed team is Lindsey Lerke. Lindsey is an alumni of VAES and is excited to be involved with the extend ed program. Welcome Lindsey!

The Extend Ed team are to be commended for daily work with our young people. They continue the mission of the school even after the official school day is over! Great job Extend Ed! We appreciate you.

Welcome to VAES
